MŪV
THE CHALLENGE

The challenge for Andorra, primarily known for its ski resorts, is to stand out during the summer season by developing an ambitious cultural offering. Cirque du Soleil must conceive an original show capable of establishing itself as a strong and distinctive cultural experience for Andorra as a summer destination, drawing on a bold and unexpected thematic universe to captivate all generations and renew the sense of wonder of an audience that returns year after year.
For this edition, Cirque du Soleil chooses to place contemporary music and audience participation at the heart of the experience.
THE SOLUTION
The solution is rooted in a lasting collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Andorra. Since 2013, Cirque du Soleil has illuminated the city's summers with original shows presented in an ephemeral 3,500-seat venue in the heart of the urban centre, reinventing itself each year around an entirely new thematic universe, from haute couture to celebration and participatory music, to surprise and build loyalty among an audience that returns from one edition to the next with the certainty of discovering something new.

MŪV is an urban fable about the unifying force of music, a participatory show that revisits the greatest recent musical hits to plunge spectators into a collective frenzy. Two worlds coexist: the Horizons and the Flames, two communities isolated from each other, vibrating to different rhythms, until the Master of Music decides to bring them together and make them dance to the same beat. At the heart of this reconciliation, members of the audience are called upon to play a catalytic role, becoming both witnesses and protagonists of the experience.
Combining hair suspension, aerial pole, slackline and bungees with contemporary and urban choreography, the show unfolds across 14 tableaux of growing intensity, driven by a pop and rock musical score of reinvented hits from artists including Billie Eilish, Stromae, Rihanna, Adele, One Republic, The Cranberries, Sia, The Weeknd, Joan Jett, etc.
