In 2017, the guests were invited at the annual MAC Ball to step into a world of surveillance and deprivation of liberties inspired by Georges Orwell’s dystopian novel, 1984, that highlights how crucial it still is to defend those liberties on a daily basis.

It’s all for a good cause: this benefit evening allows for the Foundation of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal to raise funds that aid in the promotion and preservation of contemporary Quebec, Canadian, and international art. Over the last six years, the MAC has raised millions.
